# Using Squads Wallet with Definitive

**NOTE**:  For security reasons, the Definitive team will need to whitelist your Squads wallet  before you can attempt to connect it.  Please reach out to the Definitive team or email <sales@definitive.fi> for assistance.  Once we have whitelisted your Squads address, you may follow the steps below to connect your Squads wallet to Definitive.

1. FIrst, you will need to ensure you have installed the SquadsX [browser extension](https://squads.so/blog/squadsx-multisig-extension-wallet-solana). &#x20;
   1. Please find detailed instructions on how to install the SquadsX browser extension in the Squads Docs [here](https://docs.squads.so/main/navigating-your-squad/squadsx/start-using-squadsx).&#x20;

2. After you have installed SquadsX, if you are currently connected to a different wallet, you will need to first disconnect your wallet **without** signing out of your Definitive account.
   1. As a signed in user, click on theh 3 dots next to your connected wallet in the top right corner of the trading terminal.  In the Wallet pop-up, click the small arrow next to your wallet address and select "Disconnect".

3. Now, click "Connect Wallet" in the top right corner of the trading terminal:

4. In the Wallet pop-up, type "SquadsX" in the search bar:

5. You should see Squads pop-up in the list - select it to connect your wallet:
