# Trigger Order

### <mark style="color:$primary;">Trigger Order</mark>

Trigger Orders let you set automated buy or sell orders that execute when a token hits your target price. Set your trigger price and size, and Turbo will monitor the market and execute automatically when conditions are met - no need to watch charts 24/7.

#### <mark style="color:$primary;">Buy Trigger</mark>

* A Buy Trigger executes when the token price drops to or below your specified price, letting you catch dips automatically.

#### <mark style="color:$primary;">Sell Trigger</mark>

* A Sell Trigger executes when the token price rises to or above your specified price, useful for taking profits or setting stop-losses.

#### <mark style="color:$primary;">Trigger Conditions</mark>

Trigger Orders execute based on the token's market price crossing your specified threshold.

* **Buy Triggers** activate when the price drops to or below your target
* **Sell Triggers** activate when the price rises to or above your target

Once triggered, the order executes as a Market Order at the best available price. Note that fast-moving markets may result in execution prices that differ from your trigger price.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.definitive.fi/platform/turbo/trigger-order.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
